Welcome!

I've been posting more over at my blog. The extra activity isn't because I have more time. I think I just need the outlet, and I'm being more honest there about some of the things with which I've been struggling.

I'm still a mom and a wife and a daughter and a sister and a daughter-in-law, and sometimes all of that overwhelms me.

I'm learning a lot about herbs and healing and have begun making my healing tea blends available to a wider circle of people. Look for more pretty soon.

...clearing the garden, ripping out spent plants, lopping off branches, and wondering where to tuck in some bulbs my mother-in-law gave me. I love fall.

I am getting so much out of Matthew Wood's The Book of Herbal Wisdom. He shows me how to understand plants in new ways. It's been a long time since a book has widened my eyes and changed my life so much.

And don't you love the photo on the book of the echinacea? We have some growing out front that look just like that. They've been blooming since spring. Now the birds are eating some of the flowers' seeds.
