Activities Covered by This Waiver
This waiver applies to participation in the following on-site activities:
Acknowledgment of Risk and Responsibility
I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that while Growing Curious takes safety seriously and provides a clean, well-maintained space, there are inherent risks associated with children’s play and group activities, including but not limited to:
Trips, slips, or falls
Minor injuries such as bumps and bruises
Transmission of contagious illnesses
Emotional or behavioral incidents among children
By signing this form, I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risk of injury or illness to my child(ren) or myself while on the premises.
Waiver and Release of Liability
I hereby release and hold harmless Growing Curious, its owners, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action for injury, illness, property damage, or loss arising out of participation in activities or presence on the premises.
This release includes, but is not limited to, any claim arising from negligence, accidents, or the actions of other participants.
Supervision Policy
Open Play: Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times unless they are enrolled in drop-in care.
Drop-in Care: Children must be signed in/out by a legal guardian and will be supervised by staff. Emergency contact and health information must be up to date.
Homeschool Classes: Children are expected to follow rules and respectful behavior. Guardians may be asked to stay if needed based on age or behavioral needs.
Sick Policy
To maintain a healthy environment, we kindly ask that you keep your child(ren) home if they exhibit any of the following symptoms:
Fever within the last 24 hours
Vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours
Persistent cough, sore throat, or difficulty breathing
Rash or unexplained skin irritation
Contagious illnesses (e.g., pink eye, strep throat, flu, COVID-19)
Any illness requiring antibiotics (until on medication for at least 24 hours)
If a child appears ill upon arrival or becomes ill during their visit, we reserve the right to refuse entry or request immediate pickup.
